Lately, I've started a new story on a new fandom and gotten feedback fairly well. Haven't really done anything in HP except read.
I've been reading a lot, and amongst fanfic I've read
- Fatso by Lars Ramslie
- Dark Lover by J.R. Ward (not finished yet)
- The Host by Stephenie Meyer (not finished yet)
- Sleepwalking by Meg Wolitzer (re-reading after several years, not finished yet).
I was also given Wetlands by Charlotte Roche, and will read that one as well as soon as I have time.

I've been getting back into vampires lately. It all started with Twilight of course but those books are already forgotten to me. I'm so into JR Ward's books right now that it's hard to find anything else to read while I wait for the new release. I've read all her Black Dagger Brotherhood books so far and am enjoying the Insider's Guide at the moment. I've also been getting the itch to write again. Been writing poems on a daily basis since Jan. 1st but I think I need to do more than that. We'll see. Too many projects, too little time.
Anyway, it's nice to see you're still alive.

I'm really embarrassed though, about the letter I started and that still sits in my closet...well actually it might not even sit in my closet as it got so old I might actually have thrown it away.
It's not even about the time (though that too is scarce sometimes), it's indeed the energy and difficulty of finding anything to say...to think I used to be able to ramble on for pages and now...!
Twilight is great, especially Midnight Sun, though. Have you read that? It's the first book from Edward's point of view that got leaked and therefore remains unfinished. There's 12 chapters and I think I prefer it to Bella's count. You should check that out (or alternatively, I could email it to you if you want).
Twilight is the fandom I'm writing the new story, although it is AU-Human.
I got the first Black Dagger last night and despite myself it kind of drew me in and I staid awake just to read it. I'm halfway done now.

I haven't read Midnight Sun yet. I've got it somewhere on my computer, I just haven't taken the time to read it.
I'm not familiar with fandom so I had to google the term AU-Human! lol But I get it. I've never written fan fiction yet I have the hardest time creating my own characters! Weird.
I'm hardcore into the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I already have the next book on preorder. I've been told that another good series is Dark-Hunter by Sherrilyn Kenyon which can be compared to JR Ward's BDB.
Anyway, off to watch a totally non-vampiric DVD (Breakfast Club) and do nothing!
